My son and I had lunch here a couple weeks ago. Clean, safe, and subtle interior. Classy quiet jazz in the background. After a reasonable 15 minutes our wings and thighs and legs and macaroni were served. We dug in and realized along with the other tables of ones and twos we were all quietly worshiping in fried chicken church.

Stopped in for dinner tonight. They have so many good things on the menu, but my top recommendations would be the catfish, the macaroni, and the okra. That okra comes out piping hot even if you get it to go it's still hot when you get home. Try any of the items for yourself. I don't think you can go wrong with anything on their menu, but if you have a large order, call ahead though.

I really like the fish here. All I wanted was a catfish sandwich and it was EXACTLY what I wanted! Didn't take a picture, ate it too fast! I've gotten catfish nuggets and greens in the past, and was skeptical when my nephew got mac and cheese, but it was good, too! The interior is bright like a fast food place, but cleaner. I've never seen many people eating there, I think most people take their food to go.

The fish is fried fresh when ordered so it is always hot and the portions are generous. The place is average noise levels and very clean. There is not table service but the staff were all friendly and courteous. I had the daily special which was a choice of any two meats with a side and drink. I chose the catfish and flounder. You get two pieces of each.

We ordered take out on Friday for lunch and got a bunch of things to try. We ordered fries, hush puppies, the fried chicken sandwich, catfish nuggets, fried corn on the cob, and Mac n cheese. Overall, everything was great. The breading on the fried items was good, the sauces were great, and the flavor was great as well! The only notes we had is that the seasoning on the fries wasn't distributed evenly (but still really good) We definitely recommend the catfish nuggets and the fried corn on the cob!

We ordered in and the food arrived hot and fresh. The popcorn shrimp and Whiting fish were both nicely fried and sizable portions. We wish we would have gotten more fried corn. It was absolutely delicious! The hushpuppies were lightly fried and we will definitely order from there again!

This is a compact, primarily takeout spot (though there is some inside seating) with a similarity compact menu - Fried Seafood (fish, shrimp & oysters), Chicken (including wings & tenders - but go for the legs and thighs), country cooking sides (including Fried Corn and Mac & Cheese), and a couple of dessert choice. On this visit I chose the Fried Cod with Fried Corn (on the cob). The order was ready in just under 15 minutes, and couldn't have been more on point. The 2 nice sized pieces of Cod were nicely battered (not to heavy), and perfectly fried, flaky under the batter, as it should be. The Fried Corn was delicious, well covered in butter - not the healthiest way to eat corn, my how good. The several Hushpuppies were nice as well, with just a touch of sweetness on the back end of a bite! Ambiance - 3.5 Food - 4.5 Service -3.5 (efficient but aloof) Value - 4
